on 8 things I like about Summer
1.I used to love the summer holidays :(.Can we have them back and make it mandatory for life :)
2.I love the mangoes and the yummy pickles
3.I love the short nights(he he I work in night shift)
4.I love the aam panna
5.I love the reason (it's hot I cannot make to to work,had a sunstroke)
6.I hate the heat,love the AC
7.I love that the geyser is not on and the electricity bill comes down from rocket high amount.
8.I love the Summer for,I get to live all alone when the whole family is out on a summer holiday.Peace and tranquil for those few days!!!!

ReplyDeleteoh i love summer nights!!! however hot n humid days might be, it almost always cooled down in the night! and that god sent cool gentle breeze!!!!

ReplyDeleteHi deepthi....Here r my lovin things....1) I love summer nights....I lov to roam in summner nights...2) I lov early mornings of summer...very much pleasant n refreshing....3) I lov Mangoes that com in summer--i guess its a defalut to all..4) I luv avakaya...i.e mango picle...5) I lov Rasnaa :-)6) I used 2 luv summer holydays....which gave me endless afternoon sleeps...whcih gav me a chance to meet my relatives n create all the nonsense..7) Iam a big cricket fan...n not a bad player too..so used to luv playin cricket in summer vacation..no matter whether its hot n humid out ther..8) I luv the Koo Kooos of nightingales..if iam not bcomin too much creative..:-)))

ReplyDelete@G3- hmm i think my blogger frnds knw a bit of each other little bit by now...he he would love to see wht u will rite...@dharma- well i have been wrkng in these shifts for the past 6 years.got used to it by now..wonder if i'd survive in a day job now?@P- :) u bet i thought i'd never come with something i love.but see there are 8 man 8 reasons i could think of...@nadim - yeah,u rite.however,it is 6pm here and no cool breeze..hopin those breezy winds change the lane and land here in hyd!@aditi - will look forward for one soon on your blog...@IMM - rasna man it has been ages since i drank that one.you post this on you blog and name it as tags...@priya - thnx,aam panna is like juice made from raw mangoes.it is stored in the freezer and you can drink it with a pinch of salt,sugar or black salt..acutally will post a recipe tmrrw on this one...

ReplyDeleteI don't particularly like summer - but I like the looking forward to bits. For example, I eagerly look forward to- Getting under the fan after a walk in the afternoon heat- Having loads of ice cream after a hard days work- A cold water bath- Glorious, glorious winters
